2. What data we collect
We collect personal data only when you provide it to us yourself, namely in the following situations:
- Contact form: first and last name, e-mail address, phone number (optional), the subject of your enquiry and the content of your message.
- Course sign-up: by completing an external form (Google Form) that we direct you to from this website; the data in that form is also processed by Google in accordance with its own policies.
- Direct contact: if you contact us by e-mail, phone or via social media, we process the data you provide on that occasion.
This website does not seek or require special categories of personal data. Please do not submit such data through the forms.
3. Purposes and legal basis of processing
We process your data for the following purposes and on the following legal bases:
- Responding to enquiries and communicating with you — on the basis of your request and our legitimate interest in responding to the enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
- Organising and carrying out the courses and services you have requested — in order to take steps at your request before and during the provision of the service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Fulfilling legal obligations (e.g. accounting) — where required by law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, nor do we send you marketing messages without your consent.
4. Sharing data with third parties
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers necessary for the operation of the website and the handling of your enquiries, who act as processors:
- Formspree (sending the contact form) — receives and forwards the content of your message to our e-mail.
- Google (Google Forms) — processing of course sign-ups via the external form.
- Hosting provider (Vercel) — technical delivery of the website.
We may also disclose data to the competent authorities where we are legally obliged to do so. Some of the listed providers may process data outside the EU, subject to the appropriate safeguards prescribed by the GDPR.
5. Cookies
This website does not use marketing or analytics cookies to track visitors. Only strictly necessary technical cookies required for the website to function correctly may be used.
If in the future we introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent and update this policy. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
6. Retention period
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected — for example, until we have responded to your enquiry and for a reasonable period thereafter, or for the duration of the business relationship.
Data for which there is a legal retention obligation (e.g. invoices) is kept for the periods prescribed by the applicable regulations. Once the purpose ceases, we delete or anonymise the data.
7. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Data transmission via this website takes place over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
Although we strive to protect your data, no transmission over the internet is entirely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach, we will act in accordance with our legal notification obligations.
8. Links to other sites
Our website may contain links to external sites (e.g. social media, Google Forms). We are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices of those sites and we recommend that you read their privacy policies.
9. Privacy of children and minors
This website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect data of persons under 16 years of age without the consent of the holder of parental responsibility. If we determine that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it without delay.

- the right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- the right to erasure (“the right to be forgotten”);
- the right to restriction of processing;
- the right to data portability;
- the right to object to processing;
- the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at rafael@dominicanis.hr. We respond to your request without undue delay. If you consider that the processing of your data infringes the regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb (azop.hr).
